What about other organizations? How do I know if those are okay to donate to? Two that I'm wondering about are ASPCA that helps abused animals and the Michigan Humane Society. They always ask for donations, but how do I know if they really help save lives?

I wish you would continue to rate additional "environmental" groups--the Nature Consevancy, for instance.
