The fact of the matter is, this is happening even while you're reading this... "Karma" isn't going to happen on it's own. And people shouldn't wait for it. When it comes to this. I don't think anyone should have an "opinion" on this matter. It's wrong and it will always be wrong. And that's a FACT!

I am a christian and the bible does mention eating "a fatted calf" as quoted earlyier in this comment section. I am a meat eater and I think it's ok to eat meat, but I don't think it's ok to torture animals this way when there is another, less cruel, method out there.

This is for Ashley who commented on 6/30 about the bible not saying anything about eating meat... well you would be wrong Luke 15:23 and since you chose the king james version thats the one I will quote as well: "And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry" Now I am far from being a chirstian, so I put no stock in the bible for telling me how to live my life, however I believe in the nature of how the world works. The food chain is how things are decided, lions don't protest other lions for eating gazelle. Now humans are on top of this food chain, basically everything else is on the menu.

To John Q: You are so uninformed. When using the word murder as a verb - as it would be, since mccruelty is doing the act of murdering animals - the definition ( from the Oxford English Dictionary) is killing unlawfully and with premeditation. So yes, the animals are being murdered. And it never says in the Bible that humans even could eat meat. I believe you are referring to Gensis, and from the King James's Version, it says He created the animals, and it was so. When the Bible refers to Meat, it is talking about the fruits and vegetables - "29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. " That is the quote taken directly from the Bible. If you're going to start an argument with religion, at least be right and have the information to back it up.

I get really tired of people always throwing religion in my face, whenever some so called christian hears the word vegetarian they start preaching and really its just to cover up thier own shame and ignorance because they cant form thier own opinion instead they read and warp the words of the bible to fit thier own needs.If McDonalds were to shut down today tomorrow another sh*t hole fast food joint would open in its place and as far as caring for other people and thier jobs,why? would they care about me and my welfare more than likely.. No they would not. The people in the slaughter houses are apparently cold hearted to kill for a living with little to no emotion whatso ever. And McDonald employees I seen the few times iv'e eaten there all had sh*itty attitudes and gave bad service.

I am a raging republican and I really wish my party would try and enforce more humane killing of animals. I don't have a problem with killing things to eat. It is just nature but I don't want my meat suffering.

Haha @Green Eyed Girl, true Peta does want them to kill them more humanely. And guesa what honey, i guess those lowlifes should have finished school to get A REAL JOB. Also i don't blame the workers there because they don't even know what those terrible companies do. I've never watched the videos because it would just be too sad but i hav seen pictures. And it's terrible. And as for John Q how about you get all the facts about what peta is BEFORE you go running your mouth on this. After reasing this i refuse to eat at McDonalds and KFC /:<

To Lyssie, man is the lowest form of life on this earth. I will put my life on the line for any animal before any human. This is GOD's country and in GOD's country it is full of all the beautiful animals.....NOT ANIMAL HATERS!! ANIMALS ARE NUMBER 1. GOT IT!!!

@green eyed girl really? did u read wat they are peta is doin? they dont want mcdonalds to shut down. all they are askin for is to kill the chickens more humanely. thats all they want. and by switchin to the cak method the workers are benefiting by it to. the factory workers wont have blood on thier hands and they will have more cash to feed themselves.

I'm not exactly about to give up meat, but since the animals give us food, we OWE them good living conditions and a PAINLESS death.(Do you hear THAT, Ronald you b$?!&*d turd?Didja?
