Announcing PETA's Blog Ad Competition Winners!
Last month, we gave visitors to PETA.org the opportunity to vote for his or her favorite submission in our first-ever blog ad competition.
Entrants in the competition had to create a blog ad that supported one of PETA's campaigns. We narrowed the field down to 10 finalists, which were voted on by visitors to PETA.org and placed on various blogs on the Internet. The winner—determined to be the most compelling ad by visitors to PETA.org—is ... drum roll, please ... Steve Baldwin's ad, "Do We Look Like Pests to You?"
Since we actually ran the ads on blogs, we decided that we should also recognize the ad that performed the best with a $200 Apple gift card. Please join us in congratulating Jason Frizzell for his ad, “America’s Next PETA Model,” which proved to be the most successful at getting users to actually click on an ad and visit a PETA Web site.
The other finalists in the competition will each receive a $20 Apple gift card. Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest and voted for their favorite ad.
