Canada's Most Veg-Friendly Cities

Vegetarianism is booming in North America with restaurants, stores, events, and products sprouting up all across the continent. PETA surveyed Canada's cities to find out just how good things have become and which cities are making veg-eating the easiest. To help determine Canada's best we asked vegetarian food producers about sales in Canadian cities, conducted random telephone surveys of popular restaurants in each city to ask about meatless options offered, and gave cities that are home to active vegetarian groups and vegetarian food fairs bonus points. Lastly we weighed population as a factor and determined a per-capita ratio that evens out the playing field for the smaller cities. Here are the results:
