Playboy Playmate Kimberley Hefner gets everyone’s attention in this Uncle Sam-inspired pose. A full-color cutout of Kimberley popped out at troops last November when they flipped open Stars & Stripes, the daily paper read on military bases around the world.
Kimberley’s ad brought attention to the newest government issue: meat-free MREs (meals ready to eat) to feed the bulging roster of vegetarians in the military. The response was tremendous—as one TV news anchor put it, “I bet there are a lot of soldiers cryin’ ‘uncle’ over this ad.”
