| After facing months
of tremendous opposition from caring people all over the world,
Marshall Farms has abandoned plans to expand its hideous animal
breeding "business" to Montbeugny, France. Marshall
Farms, based in North Rose, New York, breeds tens of thousands
of beagles and ferrets for sale to laboratories every year to
be used in cruel and painful toxicity tests.
Activists in France took this photo to say "merci" (thanks) to all who wrote to Monsieur Philippe Grégoire (French governmental authority), urging him to deny Marshall Farms an operating permit.
