What You Can Do

The animals at Cu Chi tunnel are in immediate need of water, clean cages, and proper veterinary care. Any vet that ignores such obvious signs of poor health as severe hair loss or allows an animal to suffer with a toothache should be fired.

In the time after we were alerted to the situation and before we were able to investigate, one animal had already died. More will die if they are not moved to a sanctuary immediately. Please call or write to the Vietnam Embassy in your country (U.S. and U.K. contact information provided below) and the commander of the military headquarters at Ho Chi Minh City and ask that the government of Vietnam immediately arrange to transfer the animals to a safe, reputable sanctuary where they can live out their lives in peace:
