My fiance Debi just called me a couple hours ago. She was crying and could barely speak. She just saw a couple minutes of this documentary, and is now HORRIFIED by images of pigs slaughtered inhumanely and live wolves on hooks and brutal skinning of them while alive and suffering, for frigging FUR! I cannot even watch it myself. I hope to God we all can stop this. Is there anything I can tell her now to comfort her? Has the place that was filmed been stopped? Why not post the address of this place on youtube, over clips of the video? Tat way we can at least go there and show everyone what goes on inside!

After I saw how the silver fox was so cruelly skinned alive....and still blinking and breathing after the ordeal...I wept...I had never been so ashamed of being a human being in my life...The best thing I could do is cry...Continue the fight and let these bastards finally see the error of their actions.

hi ingrid, loved the doc, you are truly an inspiration. I am a contributor to a NY farm sanctuary. I send them money whenever I can and I buy xmas gifts from them--- this year I bought xmas cards. I care deeply about the farm animals plight and I can see that you do too. I have pets at home but they are all rescues. keep up the awesome work that you are doing!!!

Dear Peta, As I sit here at 3:00 a.m., the usual time that cable shows documentaries on animal abuse, I am deeply disturbed by the abuse that I am witnessing. I cannot say how much the atrocities that are committed towards animals has affected my life. I cannot turn away from these videos. I cannot turn a blind eye anymore. The laws for animal cruelty are so obscenely insignificant, it's infuriating. I hope that the people that were shown in the video clips beating on animals or skinning animals alive get punished to the fullest extent. I am beside myself with anger over what I am seeing, and this is only a small glimpse into how much cruelty really goes on daily. How is it that we as compassionate human beings allow this treatment to continue? Thank you Ms. Newkirk. The animals need us all.

I agree with Ingrid. She is my own personal hero. I only became a Vegan a year and half ago but it was because of her. People in my community do not understand why i become one but thats because they are demons who only think about them selves and not the animals feelings.

I thank you for a very original and exciting ad campaign, for teaching me the ecological value of vegetarianism, and for all your work to end animal suffering. peace, John

What Ingrid says in her documentary is absoultly true.Who are we to take away an animals pride, rights, and life? They never did anything to hurt us. They live in their own world amongst the animal kingdom. People are going into their habitat and taking them from the family and homes. If we did this to people we would go to jail for kidnapping and murdering. So why is it so different to do this to animals? What humans are doing to animals is utterly desguisting and wrong. People need to get to go and stop this cruetly why we still have a chance.
