‘Win It’ Wednesday: SIGG ‘Free for All’ Bottle

If you’re like me, you like sipping your H20 throughout the day but can’t stand the wastefulness of plastic bottles. The adorable answer to this dilemma? The SIGG PETA bottle—the prize for this week’s “Win It” Wednesday contest. 


Want a shot to win it? Tell us about an amazing, animal-friendly creation that you wish you could hand out for free for all to try. The first thing that pops into my head is Annie’s Goddess Dressing. I’m convinced that if only everyone tried this divine vegan dressing, blue cheese would be banished from salads forever. It’s also a perfect topping for baked potatoes.

Think you can do better? Have at it: The person who shares the most noteworthy buzz about a vegan score will win the bottle. (And never fear—if you don’t win, you can purchase one of the bottles from SIGG.) The contest ends on February 2, 2011, and the winner will be chosen on February 4, 2011.     Well it would have to be something no one would ever think is vegan! So of course I’d go with veg mac and cheese – baked, with fried onions on top!!! Or, lasagna rolls made with tofu “riccota” and “meat sauce” made with Smart Ground!! mmmm mmmmm! (I’m actually implementing this one at my all vegan wedding shower in May! I hope it opens some eyes!)

    I love the Purely Decadent coconut milk ice cream in cherry amaretto. It’s so rich and creamy, you would never know it wasn’t dairy. And with no cholesterol or cruelty, why go for the “real thing” when this version is so delicious!

    i’d share nakd cocoa orange bars – i love them, they’ve got a texture just like chocolate truffles and a really great flavour. plus they count as fruit – what more could a snack-hungry chocolate fiend wish for?

    Hands down, it has to be the vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from Vegan with a Vengeance. I’m convinced that if I handed that out to everyone on the planet, no one would want a traditionally baked cookie again!

    Amy’s tofu scramble. If people tried that, they’d never eat scrambled eggs again. Or anything from Vegan Cupcakes take over the world.

    I wish I could get everyone to try Coconut Bliss vegan ice cream (especially the Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge flavor). I’ve already convinced my whole family to try it, but if I could hand it out for free for all to try, I’m sure I could convert a lot more people to non-dairy frozen desserts!

    Vegan Health Cookies for Dogs (and their owners)!! Dogs can live vegan, however like us it is important to provide them with quality ingredients, like in our cookies, containing: Whole Wheat Flour, Wheat Germ, Ground Flaxseeds, nutritional yeast and canola oil. Flavors: Peanut Butter, Nutritional Yeast, Carrot. it is a winner snack because both you and your dog can enjoy healthy vegan snack!
