PETA Has a Podcast!

Written by PETA | May 2, 2008

… it stars me, so it must be awesome. Actually, it stars a bunch of people at the forefront of PETA’s work to help animals, who really know what they’re talking about. I just get to introduce them. This month’s Podcast features PETA Vice President Bruce Friedrich talking about how to be an effective advocate for animals (e.g., more with the positive outreach, less with the vegan police force), and it’s really compelling stuff. So if you’ve got 20 minutes to spare this afternoon, get your headphones on, pull up an Excel spreadsheet to make it look like you’re working, and listen to Bruce’s Effective Advocacy tips. Then let me know what you think.

Great job Jack and Ingrid! I listened to Ingrid’s speech in Israel. I wanted to start with the first episode. It’s wonderful. I like her analogy between Peta using provocative tactics to attract attention to AR issues and a cat attracted to your finger under a door.

I don’t remember seeing you on iTunes. I’m still new to the “podcast” thing but I love them! How do I get Peta podcasts on iTunes? ?o Thank you.

I love podcastsgives you a chance to rest your eyes lol. So far have only listened to Ingrid’s speech but it is a classic magnifico and required listening for all who are fighting for animal rights.

That’s an essential speech. While an activist be happy be nice be calm think about how the little steps you make are combining with everyone else to become great strides and have fun because you’re improving the world! But what happened to Jack’s British accent? Which one is fake?

  • Jaclyn says:

Jack you’ve busted me! How did you know I would put on headphones pull open a file and make it look like I’m working??? LOL!

Jack Topshop sells leather. I understand that they dont sell exotic skins or fur so then what’s going on?? They even write “100 Leather” next to purses and one purse has SNAKE TRIM! Why do they sell cowskin if they’re looked favorably upon by Peta?
