PETA India Has a Fry-Up

Written by PETA | August 18, 2007

My guess is that this wasn’t exactly what attendees of the Indian Animal Industry Expo on Thursday were expecting when they were told there would be a barbeque outside the event. But life is full of surprises, I guess. Anyway, here’s a little tandoori cookout, courtesy of our friends at PETA India:

There are 6 vegetable processing plants within 2 miles of my home. The stories from the people that work there are not nice as well.

“Vast areas of forests are cleared to grow food to feed animals indeed for the steaks of the first world!” Vast areas of forest are cleared to grow your veggies.Where do you think they come from? Thin air? “Yes I personally know a veterinary who worked for 40 years in a slaughterhouse and his stories are not nice! Want some more explanations? Anytime but this could last for a long time! Big deal you know somebody.Go see for yourself or continue in your ignorance.

Mars Vast areas of forests are cleared to grow food to feed animals indeed for the steaks of the first world! The animals that are killed for food die slowand painfull deaths! Yes I personally know a veterinary who worked for 40 years in a slaughterhouse and his stories are not nice! Want some more explanations? Anytime but this could last for a long time!

“Big apes our ancestors are vegetarians!! Guess again. They are not predatory but they do eat meat if they can get it and are cannabalistic. “Vast areas of forests are cleared to grow food to feed animals ” So clearing forests to grow your veggies is better? “the animals that are killed for food die slowand painfull deaths” Not true that would give an undesirable taste to the meat. They are killed quickly by several means mandated by Law.

Jainism 500 million people in India practice the religion believes they need to love all animals and that everything has a soul including ants. they wear masks when they sweep the sidewalk bc they dont walk to swallow a bug or anything. they should be vegheads bc they love animals so much. GO PETA! THATS MAD FUNNY!

Hi Shawn It has been proven that animals have feelings of pain fear and sadness just as we do. I cannot live with the thought of any living creature having these emotions unnecessarily that is why I choose not to eat or wear animal products. Animals have flesh as do humans its almost cannibalism if you ask me. Dee Dee

hey joellen if you could see the way that animal raised for food are killed you would know why we don’t eat meat…. the animals that are killed for food die slowand painfull deaths

  • jyoti bhuva says:

Hi Shawn The whole process of producing meat is cruel animal farming transport etc. not to mention the pain and suffering the animals go through. Vast areas of forests are cleared to grow food to feed animals that are being fattened for the slaughterhouse. Not good for the environment! Animals are injected with antibiotics hence the tolerance to viruses. Need I go on!!!

  • jyoti bhuva says:

Dear Shawn No humans are not meant to eat meat. Big apes our ancestors are vegetarians!!

  • Shawn says:

Thanks Ana. thats a step in the right direction possibly !! re Jains.

  • Ana says:

Ravi I hope you achieve that goal!!! keith I understand your point of view but there is still hope. India is also home to Jains that eat no flesh and who founded an animal sanctuary over 6000 years ago. Jains make up 1 of their population. I only hope for the sake of all suffering animals that PETA COK FoA FARM and other vegan orgs all become redundant soon!!
