Fur Hag Face-Off: The Diva Edition

Written by PETA | February 10, 2010

It’s time to play another round of “Who Wore It Worse?” In this round, two singers who consistently hit only low notes—thanks to their garish fur garments—are about to face off.

Worst Dressed

First up: Is this “Loco for fur” Latina still “from the block?” That ghastly coat certainly suggests that she spends her nights walking the streets.

Not to be outdone, the “Queen of Cold’s” wailing performance in this gruesome getup had some holiday revelers worried that they were witnessing the death throes of a bear.

By now you know how to play: First, name the fur hags pictured above, and then cast your vote for “Who Wore It Worse?” And be sure to tune in tomorrow for round four!

  • Ellen Thrasher says:

I don’t know if people know this but Aretha Franklin has in the range of 40 dead animal skin coats when she performs she changes coats many times during her gig. You can not talk to people like that. She does not see anything wrong with wearing fur ! We must hit her where it counts…. in the pocket book and with bad press and ridicule…

  • Shinny says:

Both women look pathetic in those outdated fur coats trying to look beautiful and wealthy. Sorry but the fur looks better on the original critters who had to be electricuted or skinned alive for your vanity!

  • Lorrie says:

Anyone who has met “Jenny from the block” KNOWS she’s about as smart as a block…of wood. With no talent only studio singing ability Anyone remember Selena? Mrs.Mrs. Mrs.Lopez had her voice dubbed and was chosen for her look anyway. It’s no surprise she’s too stupid to put a single thought into her choice of clothing when all her “thought” is a continual “ME”. B can rot.

  • Marnie says:

They think they are awfully pretty in their furs… how tasteless!

  • Kelley says:

    Aren’t they both has beens??

  • J.G. Reynolds says:

It is obvious that both these women have very bad taste in fashion. They both look absurd and foolish for their cruel choice in “blood” fashion. They both need to wake up and realize this is the 21st century not the stone ages.

  • ocean17 says:

    words escape me right now.

  • elna lozano says:

dey r both stupid and annoying

  • Hayley says:

I have to say Aretha but they both look nasty. Fur is so tacky on people not animals I hope these loosers both understand one day that the fur they are wearing looks rediculous. Not to mention icky. Would I ever go out in pubic like that wearing that crap?! Not on my life!!!!

  • lulu says:

Gotta go with Aretha even though they’re both gross. Dare I say she might actually help antifur efforts by showing how ridiculous fur looks? No way anyone can claim that shizz looks glamorous. No way.

  • Saucy says:

How can one choose who wore it worse? They both look like bears. What happened to thin is in? Even when I wasn’t conscious and into ANIMAL RIGHTS I never saw the big draw on that one. They make you look fat. I remember feeling furs and that they were soft but there was something very very eerie about it. The animals that were mercilessly slaughtered for it. That must have been it. Even then my conscience was awakening. I may not have a million dollars but THANK GOD I have a brain and a heartbeat. My vote goes to Aretha Franklin for having the audacity to sing a holiday song in a fur coat. A holiday that many toast as the birthday of Christ………….AS IF! Remember the story of Christ in rags and the rich folks who came out in their fancy attire to meet him. He rebuked them for their dress.
