Bristol Palin’s Indecent Costume

Written by PETA | September 9, 2010

Even though Bristol Palin will be shaking her moneymaker all over the Dancing With the Stars stage this fall, she can’t seem to stop talking about how she’ll be wearing the “most modest outfits” on the show. Now, proving that the nut doesn’t fall far from the tree, Bristol is following in the blood-soaked footsteps of her grisly mama, Sarah—who never met an animal she didn’t want to kill (or so she would have us believe)—by insisting that the show’s costumers cover her stretch marks with massive amounts of fur.

OK, Bristol—first of all, despite all your supposed concern for your modesty, everyone knows that when Levi said, “If you loved me, you would,” you gave it up faster than your mama gave up the governorship. So, honey, that tacky cruise ship has sailed. And covering yourself with animal pelts is not only immodest, it’s also obscene. Luckily, PETA has confirmed that no real fur will be used on Dancing With the Stars.

Know of any other folks who don’t “get it” about fur? You might want to keep some of these handy.

How ridiculous to ridcule this girl over the things her mom has done btw I totally love Sarah. She will be wearing fake fur. If you guys really want to go after someone go after Teresa Guidice of the New Jersey housewives. She loves bragging about all her furs.

I’m with Laura Candie and Lee. You stance on wearing fur does not allow you to attack anyone for giving birth and having stretch marks. Nor does it give you the right to attack the child of a politician. If more members of PETA behaved like adults and not 13 year old whiny girls then more people would take the issues seriously.

hey im a 10th grader and i dont say that!!!

  • Brittany says:

    wearing fur makes you UGLY.

  • Cathey says:

Sarah Palin scares me worse than Bin Laden. She is one seriously underqualified and overly ambitious person. Her daughter appears to be another little apple off the tree. Sarah has very little regard for animal life. If she ever gets into national office America will suffer for it. I don’t believe for one moment she does not hunt. She probably does not even cook it but rips off and devours a chunk of raw and still warm bloody meat.

  • Christine Kolano says:

I say give Bristol a chance. I know someone that grew up in meat eating hunting trapping skinning the whole works family and is now a docile vegan encouraging other people to do the same. You never know how she could turn out. She could be a good representation of the opposite of her mother

  • Jenny says:

well that was an immature childish totallynotpetaworthy blog post you just wrote. wow.

  • Stephanie says:

Obscene juvenile comments? Really? Who cares? So he thinks she’s tacky. So what? Unfavorable comments don’t do any real harm. Skinning an animal alive does. Why don’t you stay focused on that instead of whether or not you agree with his opinion of her?

  • Saucy says:

Anyone else hoping for a wardrobe malfunction?

  • Kim says:

    I agree completely Candie.

  • claire says:

i agree with gary and audrey the childish comments really detract from the seriousness of this piece. its not a gossip website its an animal rights blog!

  • Laura says:

Although I’m not an advocate for wearing fur or treating animals cruelly I think PETA writers need to keep their political opinions out of their writing. People would take PETA more seriously if its members acted and wrote in a more mature manner.

  • Fern says:

If she dances as good as she acts then she’ll last half a show.

  • Candie says:

I completely agree about not wearing furbut making obscene juvenile comments about her personally makes it easy to ignore your worthy cause. Just stick to the facts and the horrors animals go through to get your point across not sinking to the level of a 10th grader.

  • Audrey says:

This whole family is out of their minds. Is she a dirty liar or does she just not know any better because she’s from Alaska?

  • Dana says:

Dave you couldn’t have said it any better the Palin family is the most stupid family in America. It’s just so sad that Bristol is on this show and you know people will want to watch her. Thank goodness no real fur will be used it would have been sick if they had used dead animals on these so called “stars”.

  • Eleni Comens says:

    I agree with Dave!

  • Rev. Meg Schramm says:

PETA should offer a shirt with the target design on the back of the shirt…if they don’t offer it already!

  • T says:

“famous” for getting knocked up as a teenager and now milking it for all it’s worth….

  • Rex's Mom says:

Did anyone else hear about the person who wrote in Vanity Fair magazine who is supposed to be a friend of the Palins that Sarah has NEVER hunted! And that picture showing her and one of her daughters not Bristol kneeling beside the bloody carcass of a caribou someone else supposedly shot and Sarah just got out of her car to take a picture with it??? I doubt this VERY much. She has admitted on many occasions and others have too that she loves to hunt! She has got to be one of the most vicious people on the planet!

  • AAG says:

    I agree David.

  • Merryl Goldman says:

I wonder if she gets a bikini wax? If so she should use that fur to cover her modest parts…..what an idiot!

  • Lee says:

“by insisting that the show’s costumers cover her stretch marks with massive amounts of fur.” Personal misogynistic statements about her Motherhood detract from the real issue of banning the use of fur in fashion. It is a lazy tactic to attack a woman’s body for changes that occur in bearing children. Sadly if this is Peta’s path I will no longer be a member.

  • gary leigh says:

vote her off the show first week. use her to make a statement on her attire!! spread the word.

  • Dave says:

So Bristol’s wardrobe will be made of fake fur? Thank goodness PETA. I seriously think the Palin family is the most indecent intellectuallydevoid and pathetically stupid family in America.
