Apple Paltrow Goes Vegetarian Because of Stella McCartney

Written by PETA | September 13, 2010

Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter, Apple, has taken a shine to PETA pal Stella McCartney, and the fur-free designer’s good influence has rubbed off—Stella says that she has convinced Apple to go vegetarian! According to the Daily Mail, Gwyneth sent Stella a photo of Apple wearing a PETA T-shirt and said, “She’s your child!”

Hats off to Apple for realizing at such a young age that animals are friends, not food.

i think this is great even if she is a child and not capable of choosing for herself, after all children are fed meat without thier consent from an early age, they have no idea that meat comes from animals and if they saw how it got on thier plates, believe me they would all choose to be vegetarian!!!

Love this story! Being that Paltrow has always been one of my favorite celebrities, I think I like her even more, now!

Apple Paltrow is a child and she eats what her parents and other caregivers allow her to eat. I am glad her parents have made the vegan choice for her but at her age had no say in the matter.
