Aliens Want You

Written by PETA | April 28, 2010

We have met the enemy and the enemy is … E.T.? At least, that’s what astrophysicist Stephen Hawking says. He warns that extraterrestrials could be like … well, like humans, who never seem to have met an “alien” life form that they didn’t want to capture, enslave, experiment on, or even eat alive.

Inspired by Hawking’s warning, we’re running this ad in Roswell, New Mexico—the location of the alleged and legendary (“allegendary”?) alien crash-landing and the setting of numerous X-Files episodes—as a reminder that being abducted by “superior beings” for experiments is real for animals in laboratories.

NASA space capsules reportedly read, “We Come in Peace,” on the side, but as PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk has pointed out, judging by the way we treat the other beings with whom we share this planet, they should continue, “Unless You’re Less Powerful Than We Are, in Which Case You’re Lunch!” Here’s hoping that E.T. does as Earthlings say, not as we do, and that we’ll soon see the error of our ways.

  • Tom Cruise says:

Xenu did some experiments on me, but it was cool. I didn’t get hurt, and he even gave me a nifty balloon for being cooperative.

  • Josh says:

Sing me up for the Testing

  • Jay says:

I watched some footage about st experiments like this and what it is about with these sondes in the brain. I must say let the animals think and dream what they want. It’s private!

  • Klara says:

Experiments with living beings are in every case wrong. Curiosity… no excuse no reason counts for real !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the past many got harmed already and we know enough to stop it…

  • Shari says: nailed it again! This would be great to see in Houston. How about the famous quote “HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM” With a PETA message underneath it! That will make traffic stop!

  • Rev. Meg Schramm says:

I just finished reading the novel “QB VII” ‘Queen’s Bench 7 by Leon Uris. The story is about a nonJewish doctor from Poland knighted in England as a humanitarian who sues an American Jewish author for liebel. The doctor had been a political prisoner in a concentration camp in Poland during WWII serving his time as a surgeon for his fellow inmates. The author accuses the doctor of conducting hideous medical experiments on the Jewish inmates while he was there. Some of the experiments sound very similar to what is done to lab animals in the course of a day in the interests of effiency and speed and the result is horrifying wether the subject is human or nonhuman. Also the book is interesting in that it teaches about the British legal system and the training of attorneys which is very different from the way it is done in the United States.

i hope one day some aliens come and take away all the people who are cruel to defensless ones and experiment on them to see if they like it or not.imma email e.t.

  • troller says:

“To punish and enslave!” Humans are great aren’t we? no sarcasm Any way the likelihood of meeting another sentient advanced alien civilization is very low and why do you need to travel light years to find human experimentation? The Japanese and the Germans have done all that before. Aren’t they terrible?

  • Ashlyn says:

I love it. I only buy things that were not tested on animals and I urge my friends and family 2 do the same. Thank you PETA! That monkey photo is so sad though.

  • Carrie says:
