It looks like DJ Pauly D is DTF—Down to Feast (on vegan food). After he watched the game-changing documentary Forks Over Knives, Pauly tweeted, "Just Watched A Movie Called 'Forks Over Knives' Basically Changed My Life!" It isn't surprising, since we know that he likes staying in great shape and looking "fresh to death." PETA sent Pauly some swag to help him get started, including Vegan Cooking for Carnivores and a vegetarian/vegan starter kit.
And model Ireland Baldwin is making her fridge as green as her namesake. After PETA tweeted that some Easter candy is made from "excretions of a beaver butthole," Ireland responded, "Well, @peta gives me another reason to commit to becoming vegan." Animal-friendly genes must run in the family: Her dad, Alec Baldwin, is a top-notch PETA supporter, and mom Kim Basinger is vegetarian.
Pauly and Ireland weren't the only ones posting sweet tweets for animals this week:
HLN's Morning Express host Robin Meade has also ditched meat. Maybe Jane Velez-Mitchell is helping her find her way to Veganville.
Vegan funny lady Ellen DeGeneres will help audiences everywhere remember that fish are friends, not food, in her upcoming Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory.
And we'll leave you this week with an "Awww": a video of Pauly D's pal—and ours—Jay Sean hanging with his dog, Tyler. Yeah, buddy!

What's better than T-shirt time? "No T-shirt" time! And that's exactly what the throng of Jersey Shore fans got outside MTV's Times Square studios when Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino revealed his new PETA ad encouraging everyone to spay and neuter their animals.
Fans who couldn't make the unveiling still got to see Sitch's sweet tweet that revealed his ad and gave some love to PETA. And he wasn't the only one turning Twitter into an animal love-fest this week. Check out what these other celebs were doing to help with PETA campaigns:
Morrissey sings about how "Meat Is Murder," so, of course, he doesn't want any dead bodies around him when he's performing. For his appearance on The Colbert Report, Morrissey insisted that the entire building be meat-free for the day. And when, in true Colbert fashion, Stephen tried to rib Moz about his morals, the PETA pal had some zingers of his own ready. "Animals are nicer than humans," he deadpanned. "If you stick your grandmother in an oven, she will probably be tasty. But is that any reason to eat your grandmother?"
James Cameron might be about to make a titanic impact on the way the world eats. The director and newly minted vegan is challenging environmentalists to adopt a plant-based diet to save the planet. During a recent speech, he told the audience, "I want to challenge everybody here: If you're an environmentalist, I say, my challenge is, you can't be an environmentalist, you can't be an ocean steward, without truly walking the walk, and you can't walk the walk in the world of the future, the world ahead of us, the world of our children, not eating a plant-based diet."
And vegan Emily Deschanel is speaking up once again. Her show, Bones, dedicated another episode to animal rights, this time, to the cruelty of keeping exotic animals as "pets."

Here's the situation: Abercrombie & Fitch has offered to pay Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and other Jersey Shore cast members not to wear the brand, saying that seeing the Sitch in Fitch is damaging the company's image. Well, Mike can't run around shirtless—at least not all the time―so PETA is sending him replacement clothing that's worthy of T-shirt time. Here's our mocked-up, fingers-crossed vision of what Mike would look like rocking a PETA tee:
Unlike A&F, PETA would be honored if The Situation were to wear our T-shirt and show his fans that real tough guys are kind to animals. By sticking up for animals, The Sitch would join other macho men with hearts of gold like Dennis Rodman, Amar’e Stoudemire, Waka Flocka Flame, Mac Danzig, Chad Ochocinco, Carey Hart, and Ron Artest.
We hope to see Mike fist-pumping in our T-shirt soon. In the meantime, you can pick up one of our "too sexy" tees for yourself at the PETA store at CafePress.com. As Pauly D would say, "Yeeeeeeeah, buddy!"

Here's "The Situation": Sexy Jenni "JWoww" Farley of Jersey Shore fame has launched her new clothing line, Filthy Couture. No word yet on whether or not it'll include Snookits, but PETA members everywhere united in a resounding fist pump when JWoww's camp confirmed that Filthy Couture is free of fur and exotic skins.
Perhaps this headline will be coming soon to a newspaper near you: "PETA Implants JWoww in 'Rather Go Naked' Campaign." Would you like to see that become a reality?
