Playboy Playmate: Bunnies Aren't for Wearing

Playboy Playmate Crystal McCahill is no stranger to wearing bunny ears. But today, she and PETA campaigner Tracy Patton put on bunny ears for a different reason: to save bunny skins. The PETA cottontails asked shoppers in busy downtown Chicago to hightail it away from fur.

The bunnies were hopping mad about how animals are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive for their fur. And as these two made clear, everyone looks best in their own skin.

Be a bunny's honey—don't wear fur.

Vanessa, I completely agree! There is nothing wrong with sex or nudity, but only showing a certain body type that only about 5% of women naturally have, the message is "if you don't fit this unattainable mold, you are worthless". It is demeaning!

We don't judge natives in the jungle going nude. No shame in showing the body if it personal choice. I'd go naked if it mean't getting money to help save animals from the monstor's of society - the human plague. "If it harm none, do what you will." KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK P.E.T.A.

I think they are doing something about the problem. And if they show skin doing so, then why should they be judged. I thought it was a great campaign. They are thinking about what sells in the world, and yes that is sex. Why do people get judged for wearing less clothes that others, but can't get judged on the fact that they ARE out there doing something?!

Bunnies were not put on this earth to provide fur coats for people, and women were not put on this earth for men to salivate over. No matter how much money is in it, posing nude in magazines or dancing nude on stage is dehumanizing to both women AND men. We will only become kind to animals when we learn to stop objectifying ourselves.

This is a really good idea, but are slim, pretty women the only ones doing it? If so, then watch out because people will get the wrong idea... The sexualization card's been drawn quite a lot of times, y'know...
