Ellen DeGeneres, Gordon Ramsay, and Entourage star Adrian Grenier are among the many stars who have recently done something noteworthy for animals:

Guess who was named MVP of the MLB All-Star Game? Yep, that would be vegetarian royalty Prince Fielder.
Just when you thought you couldn't love PETA's 2009 Woman of the Year Ellen DeGeneres any more, she ups and rescues a sick kitten.
First of all, who knew that socialite Cornelia Guest was a vegan? While you digest that, consider the news that she's launching a vegan handbag line. Are you listening, Paris Hilton?

If Ellen cares so much about animals then why does she take money to endorse Covergirl makeup when they are a company that tests on animals. So she cares about one sick kitten, but it is okay with her that other animals are tortured and killed for cosmetics? That is so backwards. I think that helping the kitten was a publicity thing. I don't think that she really cares about animals, if she did then she would never endorse covergirl, or any other brand that is involved with animal testing. The same thing for other celebs who claim to care about animals, and then decide to do commercials for companies that harm animals, like Carrie Underwood for Olay, and Eva Mendes for Pantene. If you are against animal cruelty then stand up for what you believe in. I'm sure all of these people could have afforded to not be a part of these ad campaigns.

I am ashamed of you peta for even putting Ellen on your website. She may be a vegetarian, but she is also a "covergirl" and since you are such "great" animal activist should know that covergirl is one of the largest animal testing products out there. This is so embarrassing for you guys and I URGE you to look into this asap

Don't praise Gordon Ramsay too much. I believe he raises and slaughters his own animals used for food and they serve lots of non-vegetarian meals including veal on Hell's Kitchen. So I don't think Ramsay is a friend to animals. I think they also serve venison on some shows.
