Fat usually comes from overeating and overeating the wrong foods, and usually from overeating meat and cheese, maybe particularly cheese, but all fatty stuff, and meat has fat that runs all the way through it even if you trim it. So, I like PETA pushing us to be slimmer myself. Sometimes, just sometimes, I need a nudge!

Just a heads up--his name is misspelled in the headline. It's spelled correctly in the blog entry, though....with two n's, Glenn Beck. So glad he's gone vegan. Hope he sticks to it!

Yikes, GB called it a vegan nightmare... wheatgrass?! It is possible to eat/drink those weird things & get a false impression... I eat tasty vegan things... no tofu slabs, no wheatgrass smoothies, no soy burgers. That man 'feels like he is in a dream'; so, in other words he has some neurotic/psychotic issues, and I hope he gets well & goes Liberal. veganism is about ethics, but on the food issue: pasta with peanut butter, hot sauce and Earth Balance margarine, followed by boiled lentils with marg, walnuts and sea salt, followed by veg (spinach salad with basalmic, or some hot veg with hot sauce), and fruit of course... totally excellent! Nothing weird!

I love you, PETA, but I don't like how you view people on the chubby side. You say they will look "foxy" if they lose weight... you say "save the whales" with pictures of overweight women... it's not right. The world is already full of pressure to be "society's ideal" and you're making it worse when you should be making the world better.
