'Win It' Wednesday: PETA Unisex Watch

It's past overdue that animals continue to be used as a form of entertainment. Circuses, rodeos, bullfighting, dog fights, zoos? Why do some people continue to exploit them for personal enjoyment, when there are plenty of cruelty-free options available instead? It's about time these events died off, people can find alternate forms of entertainment nowadays.

eating animals. animals torment. other Erdlings suppress. think that if one makes has to do also does. everyone must live the same right in the freedome and in the luck. Nobody is fewer value. Where the justice? There were not it ever. what´s so beautiful at the animal eat? nobody think what he actually make. If more children and young people decide to become vegetarian and vegan, then perhaps in the future no more animals are killed and tormented. Hopefully the situation in the world changes. GO VEGAN sorry my english is bad.

Their are many changes that need to be made for animals, starting most obviously with ridding the world of factory farms. Cage reared eggs are a disgrace, while the the veal industry is founded on torturing baby cows. As we all know, these are only two of the many unjust and inhumane aspects of factory farms, but they are two topics that are important in animal rights because they are approachable for non-vegetarian/vegans. I find it very difficult to get people to engage in discussion about the cruelty of factory farms and of meat production, mainly because people do not want to face the guilt when they consume their next chicken breast. But as we have seen from the famous PETA anti-fur adds, there are certain animal rights topics, fur being the exemplary one, that the majority of people are happy to talk about. Rappers like Waka Flocka and basketball star Amare Stoudamire have spoken out against fur farms for PETA. I believe that the next steps to get the general public more engaged in animal rights is to talk about cage reared eggs and veal. When the average non-vegetarian learns about the horrifying condition of cage reared hens, many of them will change over and start buying free-range eggs. I have personally gotten people to change. Also, many people have a soft spot for babies, so when people hear about the way that baby calves are tied up and hardly get to move their entire lives so that they can become veal, many people are sympathetic and will choose to avoid veal. I think that these two issues are very important and need to be campaigned for, because sometimes people will not respond to being told that their piece of chicken or steak was produced unethically, to them it is just part of the natural cycle, but more people are disturbed by hearing that their eggs were produced by hens who were cramped 5 per cage and didn't even have room to stretch. I know that PETA does not support cage-free eggs, but rather no eggs at all. I too am a vegan and I refrain from eggs, but I just think that getting people to be aware of animal issues in general is important, and pushing against cage-reared eggs and veal is a great way to get people in the door.

animal cruelty laws should cover all animals. vivisection and cruel and sadistic junkscience non-experiments should end. all circuses should be shut down post haste. it should bee against the law to eat meat and feed diary to your children.

Longest overdue for animals is the obvious. They aren't animals they are obviously living creatures on this planet as we are. What makes people think they are below and don't deserve to be treated as we treat other humans? Animals are our friends and they play a significant role in the way we live. They help the earth and they help us. Animals aren't trash and aren't suppose to be held up in tight spaces, i wonder how it would feel for humans to be put in small cages and see it as being acceptable??? Animals are GODS creatures as we are and deserve a lot more attention than some things we value in life. We need to find so called "humane society's" that are suppose to save animals. We need to step up as humans and start looking at what we care about and time for not only in the United States but all around the world to make laws that animals deserve, RESPECT!!!. IT IS ABOUT TIME THEY DESERVE IT!!!!
