Yes, you read that right. The guy whose name has become synonymous with hanging, electrocuting, drowning, and shooting dogs and forcing them to rip each other to pieces in dogfighting rings is now bemoaning the fact that he can't have a canine companion.
No need for immediate concern. Vick has been banned from owning dogs for three years as part of his probation. PETA believes that no one who abuses dogs as Vick did should ever be allowed to have access to vulnerable animals again. And really, being prohibited from experiencing the unconditional love of a dog is a tiny price to pay—much smaller than the ultimate price paid by the dogs Vick abused and killed at Bad Newz Kennels.

I honestly hope that you people have children one day and one day your child is convicted of a felony. So that he or she and you will realize the hardships people go through in order to get a second chance in life. If you are criticizing Obama or anybody that supports people getting a second chance, then a big SHAME ON YOU! Athletes that come from poverty stricken neighborhoods are not taught how to properly function in life and we are in part to blame for that. It is people that buy tabloids and follow TMZ that give these people the feeling of superiority, which impart leads to mistakes. Shame on all of you and I can only hope that you will one day feel the pain of not getting a second chance in life and realize that this is a story you should be happy about.

Almost all of us grew up eating meat, wearing leather, and going to circuses and zoos. We never considered the impact of these actions on the animals involved. For whatever reason, you are now asking the question: Why should animals have rights? Read more.
