Pro-Life? Then Let Animals Live

On Tuesday afternoon, Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman signed into law a bill banning abortions after 20 weeks of gestation based on the belief that fetuses can feel pain at that stage. He also signed another bill requiring women to be screened for mental health problems before having abortions.

No matter where you stand on abortion, we hope that you appreciate the billboard that we'll be erecting in Lincoln, Nebraska, to remind everyone that electing not to take animals' lives is always a sane choice.

I'm strongly pro life 98 of abortion are not done for medical reasons is wrong end the life of any living thing without a real need i'm also against death penalty and all form of entairtement who involve the suffering of an animal

As a prolife person who knows many prolife people I think this billboard WILL make them stop and think.To me it's a natural progression. I think it's a great ad. Anything that get's people thinking about cruelty to animals that is a good thing. Until I was awakened to it I never thought twice about the meat on my plate.

ya know i'm sure this comment is going to be moderated out but animals are not ours to cage as pets. How can you consider yourself kind to animals if you keep them indoors against their nature?

I complet agree with kalpana. Im not much "prolife" more anti abortion. I've been living in Spain for 2 years and lately a great national argue is being shownd up here between the "prolife" team and the "taurian" team. Oh my I cant understand why both thing respecting human lives and animal lives has alway to be separeted. Let's stop torturing animals but also let's stop killing children with so many aborts!!!! By the way PETA is doing a great job. I'm amazed how companies are starting to get worried about what PETA knows about hurting and torturing animals!!!! Great!!!

Thank you! This is a great way to approach people that assume a crueltyfree lifestyle means that they have to be liberal and prochoice as well. If its crueltyfreeif can include human pregnancies!
