Always one to lend a helping hand flipper, our American Maple Syrup Campaign "spokesseal" was itching to get behind the wheel of a tractor to help out one Green Bay, Wisconsin, farmer who was eager to show his support for our Canadian maple syrup boycott.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's … a seal driving a tractor?

As part of our relentless efforts to stop the Canadian seal slaughter, our seal is traversing the U.S. and urging people to choose maple syrup made in America as a way to put pressure on the Canadian government to stop the cruel killing of baby seals in Canada.

I've always wondered—does one need a driver's license to drive a syrup tractor?

So, where are you buying your syrup these days?

Although I love Canada as well it's time for this reprehensible practise to be banned outright. And Kim LaBella who exactly do you mean by "those heartless club wieling people" the Canadian government the seal hunters or are you one of the ones who think that every Canadian endorses it? Because if you do I should point out to you it is extremely difficult to drum up popular support for the seal "hunt" within Canada.

Although I love Canada all my maple syrup is from Vermont. And PETA may do weird things but they get noticed and that is what is important. Once people notice they start to try and find out what it is all about. So think about that Craigh and try to learn about the world "AROUND" you!

Ugh I would NEVER support seal slaughter! I get maple syrup from the Dutch Farmers Market nearby my neighborhood. I think it is from Vermont and it is deelicious!

im canadian so i get organic maple syrup form quebec. sorry. the only pure maple syrup i can find is canadian without having to drive an hour.

I buy my maple syrup from a small company in the Adirondacks. I'd rather spend a little more money than support those heartless clubwielding people. Ick they make me sick. Adorable pictures by the way.

Vermont if I can get it. Do without if I can't. By the way I am also boycotting Silkience hair products my favoritewhich are made in Canada. My hair doesn't thank me but my soul is at peace.

Adorable pics! There is no way I'm using my hard earned money to support the seal slaughter no more Canadian maple syrup for me!
