Dear Guys,

Wearing Axe's new leather-inspired "Instinct" fragrance will not get you mobbed by a horde of horny honeys swooning over the smell of cow hides.

There's nothing sexy about smelling like or sporting rotten animal skins. (And yes, we have sexpert Pamela Anderson backing us up here.)

To prove that point, PETA is creating a much more realistic, slaughterhouse-inspired leather scent:

Ah, the essence of blood, guts, urine, feces, and fear—all bottled up.

Believe us, if you show up for a date wearing "Instinct," leather, or even our own "Eau D' Abattoir," our first instinct will be to slam the door in your face.

Our advice? Pleather yourself, pronto.

One other thing After a long motorcycle ride my husband and I toured the United States on our Valkerie for our honeymoon in 2001 the smell of body odor sweat leather gas fumes and in some cases oil if you serviced the bike on the road can make a person almost pass out. I have found the best thing to wear on long bike trips is a Kevlar jacket or jumpsuit which is excellent protection and can be vented to keep the rider cool.

You know this scent may turn women off the slaughterhouse scent you came up with. However it may attract Hannibal Lecter...OO

That pretty much sums up the smell. A slaughterhouse I once visited just reeked of blood guts and feces. It was such a thick pervasive smell it could make you gag. And the "aroma" stays lodged in your nostrils for hours. Thanks but no thanks.

I know there are many animal loving vegetarians who wear leather. Giving up leather is a major and imperative step to becoming more crueltyfree.

"Pleather Thy Self?" As bad as the Axe purfume may be I doubt the scent of plastic is much better at attracting positive attention. I prefer Lavender or Ginger. I have also noticed that any man I meet that has a little saw dust on them is also very attractive..the woodsy thing. Try Cedar Boys

We don't use AXE products as I believe they test on animals. And isn't this the same company that used a terrified pig running through a mall being chased by people hopefully some of it was computer simulated in one of their disgusting commercials? Even more reason why we won't lay a finger on their products.

I thought that Axe is one of the companies that uses animal testing. You should be steering clear of that company altogether. Good for me because I can't see how other guys wear that stuff. It smells awful!

A shout out to all the animal lovers out there. We have heard that the employees of the restaurant El Tarasco at 316 Rosecrans Manhattan Beach California were responsible for continually harassing one of their neighbors dogs. The Restaurant Owner Richard Polermo's recommendation was to have kill the dog. Maybe you should help register your disgust against this type of behavior.
