Ronald McDonald Gets What's Coming to Him ...

If you've kept up with our campaigns, you're well aware of the horrors of the factory farms and slaughterhouses that supply chickens to greasy fast-food joints such as KFC and McDonald's. After learning about the cruelty that goes into making every "Happy Meal" (more like Unhappy Meal), some PETA members took to the streets to turn the tables on old Ronald.

Check out these photos, and then send a letter to McDonald's and let officials there know that you won't stand for any more McCruelty.

Finally, the chicken gets revenge. He's boiling mad that his brothers were scalded alive.

So, Ronald, how does it feel to be on the other end of the knife? The chickens aren't too happy about it either.

Good work! I like what we can learn from that type of protest...empathy. The idea of what if we were the ones in place of the chickens? because like us they can feel too.

I'm afraid Bluey's comment "Do you really think that the best way to get your message across to people is to simulate the murder of a clown while they are eating?..." is absolutely true. As much as I think it's very important to educate and inform I think it's vital to realize what results certain actions might achieve..

Why single out these two corporations? They are all guiltyevery meatserving restaurant get its meat through the factory farming chain. Being a vegetarian is not going to stop any of this. There isn't enough available grain to go around now.

I think that PETA sent a strong but effective message to McDonalds and its customers by displaying the Ronald character upside down being slaughtered. Many corporations and businesses need to place ethical priorities in front of profits and it should be the governments duty to create strictor guidelines and severe penalties for companies that do not adhere to social standards on running there businesses. It saddens me to know of Mcdonalds cruelty to animals but im happy to see that PETA is exposing the franchise on there terrible misconduct.

This demo certainly makes the point from the perspective of the chicken. It's about time toobut I still wish violence or the portrayal thereof were not necessary.

ronald mcdonald always scared me as a child. its sad how they treat animals in factory farms espcially since it isn't good for you in the least.

It's true. My friend works at Wayne Farms in TroyAlabama and they hang the chickens upside down going along a conveyor and they cut the heads off the chickens as they go along.

Fast food is the most sickening thing known to man I can't believe I used to eat it! YUCK! You are what you eat people diabetes is incresing at an alarming rate amoung youg people and fast food is a big reason..stop eating it!!!!
