Activists Sound the Alarm on Fort Carson's Cruel Trauma Training

In case it's never been said before, I'm going to go ahead and say it: Colorado activists rock!

Activists in Colorado Springs showed that they are fed up with Fort Carson for stabbing and reportedly burning and shooting live goats in bloody trauma-training exercises that attempt to mimic human battlefield injuries. They staked out a busy intersection near Fort Carson and got busy alerting commuters that the exercises are not only cruel but also archaic and unnecessary.

PETA "troops" expose Fort Carson's dirty little secret.

An activist makes darn sure that no driver gets by without getting the message.

PETA signs caught the attention of many military folk on their way to the Fort Carson base.

Oh, did I mention that some of the activists in attendance were ex-military? You know that things are shady when even former soldiers start breaking rank. (I can think of a few other soldiers who would probably agree.)

Hi everyone, I know this remark may cause a contraversy, and I am sorry. But I have to say it. According the the bible pigs are unclean animals. Which means they are not suppose to be eaten by man. When Jesus himself cast out all the demons in the man who called himself "Liegion", which meant "thousands". In other words this man was filled with thousands of demons and when Jesus told them to leave the man, the demons asked that Jesus not kill them but to cast them into the pigs that were around them. So Jesus was merciful even to demons and cast them into the pigs. Then the pigs, themselves ran and jumped off a cliff and killed themselves. So Jesus himself used thousands of pigs as sacrificial animals in order to save one man. So I cannot object the use of pigs as sacrificial animals to save our troops, even if it even saves just one man or woman. After all, if it was your wife, husband, son, daughter, aunt uncle, grandchild. etc., wouldn't you want a pig to die instead of them. I know I would. Yes I am a Veteran too, but a Christian first. I wish we wouldn't have to use any animal for any testing, But sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the best of our troops. I am a veteran and was a Human Research Volunteer Guinea Pig) in the Navy. No, I wasn't shot or hurt like the pigs are, but tested on in other ways that the purpose was used to save lives. I would do it all over again too, even there was a lot of discomfort in order to gather data for future use of saving lives. I love pigs and all other animals, but I would rather loose an animal than a family member. Love you all in the name of Jesus Christ. I am sorry if I offended anyone.

What is the purpose of this? If it's to train medics to treat battlefield injuries the best way to get that experience is to actually be in battle... An excellent way to be desensitized to killing is to be face to face with someone determined to kill you...

Why don't you people have any demonstrations or campaigns against the us marshals service? After all they are famous for taking great pleasure in shooting dogs.

I'm guessing that a major reason that live animals are used in these exercises is to desensitize the troops to killing.

what disgrace is it to be human !! we knowlingly take part in wars and murder and if that's not enough we make innocent animals suffer for the manmade catastrophe!! what shame the human race has brought to the animal kingdom we don't use our ability to reason for any good rather we use to think of ways to make animals suffer unthinkable torture !!

These are human sadists malevolently torturing and killing goats in the name of war. No words can describe how demonic and despicable animal abusers are. Vegetarians and animal rights activists are sane people living in an insane world.
