Santa's Not Coming ...

This Christmas, please, please, please remember to leave soy milk out for Santa Claus instead of cow's milk. With that in mind, here is PETA’s world-famous “Santa’s Not Coming” PSA. Warning: It’s a little bit controversial (by which I mean “hilarious”). As usual, please direct all complaints or concerns about this ad to OMGWTF@peta.org, with the subject line “Please, think of the children!”

Its the hormones in conventional milk that are a problem not the milk itself. Support your local family farm and buy good old fashioned cream on the top milk that doesn't contain the hormones some large companies give to their cows. You will be supporting a local business and its good for you. Really. If you don't choose to drink milk or have dairy products that's fine but people who do partake can do so without fear. I myself was lactose intolerant and found that I wasn't actually intolerant to the milk fat or lactose in the milk. I was sensitive to the hormones. Now while I don't say I drink milk very often I can if I want to and I can have ice cream again now that I buy organic hormone free or buy a cone from a local place that is run by a local family that makes their own ice cream and has their own cows.

What has PETA done killed the real Santa and replaced him with a fat vegan? Whoever did this I hope you have high tolerance for .50 BMG rounds.

Ariel Your statement seems a little selfindulgent and pretentious. AntiPETA people if done right I admit put themselves out there as well. I'm antiPETA. but not antianimal rights would you like to fault me for that? As I have always said my ears and eyes are open and I like to listen. Would you still like to go with your blanket statement "And unfortunately the antiPeTA's can't say they realize or care about what the cows go through or try to stop animal cruelty ..."?" Is it nice to be 20 yrs old and follow an organization blindly?

Fair enough Fred. I usually avoid the fake meats near beer as you say but found after being veg for a while I didn't desire meat any more. I think the longer you are veg the easier it is to remain veg. Have a Merry Christmas!

Shayla GREAT post! I couldn't have said it better myself! And unfortunately the antiPeTA's can't say they realize or care about what the cows go through or try to stop animal cruelty and mostly for putting ourselves out there for what we believe in despite all antagonism.

Mike No I havent given it a real shot simply because I don't like the taste. I have a sister who is vegetarian and so I have tried it on several occasions and to say it is a close tasty substitute is totally inaccurate in my eyes. I have also had my fill of soy in the military as soy burgers milk and such is generally cheaper and less likly to spoil. Its kinda of like drinking near beer whats the point. I won't say you are wrong for eating vegan food and have no intention of verbally bashing you because you do. In turn I would expect the same because I don't. I simply don't like the taste and I have zero guilt while eating a bacon cheese burger.
