Protest at Falcons Training Camp

Welcome to Day 7 of the Michael Vick dogfighting indictment. PETA is still being inundated with calls and emails about the case, and we’re still working round the clock to make sure that the NFL and Vick’s sponsors send a real message to fans about the cruelty of dogfighting, rather than just sitting around to see what will happen next. I’ll have some more updates for you in a little while, but in the meantime, here are some great photos from today’s PETA demonstration outside Falcons HQ. You can be certain that there’s more where that came from.

Ohio State Buckeyes fans out there will recognize the man on the left of this first photo—Bill Long, the QB for the Buckeyes in the 60s who led them to a national championship in 1968, is a longtime animal activist who’s been working this whole week in Atlanta on this campaign. Bill, you’re amazing.

I think michael vick and all his thug friends are the lowest form of human life I have ever heard of. I think he should go to dog fight training camp and fight like he made his dogs fight. That would be sport. I hope he burns in hell for what he has done and Arthur Blanc is with him for not taking action sooner.

PETA I would like to see your organization protest a persons that endugle in killing people. Many years ago black men were tortured and hanged. Did your PETA ancestors protest that? And now you protest to get a black man away from his team. DUE PROCESS. It is apparent you have convicted him based on television andor paper media.

Dear "Imperfect" This asshole made his bed now he can sleep in it. Being in the NFL comes with having moral character. This dumb ass does not have that. This is a sport that millions of kids look for role models in. I have NO sympathy for him. I hope he rots in hell for the suffering he has caused.

FYI to rachel yes if vick is convicted he would go to jail but and thats a huge but. He with the money he makes can choose when he can go to prison just like Jamal Lewis Who took his jail plea after the season. Vick will play this year. And If the falcons cut him hes owed 45 million in guaranteed moneyalso if he's aquitted not only will the falcon fans base drop but they will be on PETA's ass all day and night. Remember he's not found guilty and pretty much i believe he had something to do with this issue but hes not going to jail for it. There has been tons of athletesartist that do this and everyone is going after Vick which isnt right. Once this is over its all gonna be put back in the face of PETA JUST Shut The FUCK UP. One person said on the radio that i rather see a human being die than an animal are you serious who would you rather accidentally run over a human being or an dog i mean be serious.This is stupid

Hey Imperfect! When do you think Mike Vick is going to pay back the money in TAXES that he stole from you and everyone else in America? Goodness gracious you proVick people don't let up do you? Let me explain something. I have heard the Duke Lacrosse case brought up over and over again by those who support Mike Vick. Well look at the facts in the Duke scandal all they had was the word of the supposed "victim." The DNA tests exonerated the accused the accuser's story was blown and the D.A was disbarred. Now in Vick's case there is an 18page indictment four eyewitnesses a huge mound of physical evidence...shall I go on? The Duke case and the Vick case DON'T EVEN COMPARE. And I really hate to bring up race but the fact of the matter is some AfricanAmericans have come to this board and accused PETA of racism for wanting Vick suspended. I have to ask you did you give the Duke Lacrosse players the same benefit of the doubt? I highly doubt it. Unfortunately we live in a country with the type of history where EVERYTHING is a race issue. Race permeates everything whether we like it or not. But it doesn't seem to affect PETA. People of ALL races ethnicities genders sexual orientations religions political parties yes there is such a thing as a conservative Republican animal rights activist! etc. are welcomed wanted and needed. Andre 3000 of Outkast Salim Stoudamire of the NBA Kevin Eubanks of the "Tonight Show" Russell Simmons Al Sharpton...the list is endless. WHY you ask when so many humans need help too? Because the animals can't speak out...because compassion for animals usually equals compassion for humans. In a way helping animals IS helping humanity. One last thing about the Duke vs. Vick argument...unlike the young woman in the Duke case a pitbull can't call the police and file a complaint true false or otherwise.

You folks at PETA are idiots and probably RACISTS! The man hasn't even been convicted yet and you're already calling for him to be locked away! He was indicted not found guilty of a crime. I'm a law enforcement officer and it's not hard to get an indictment. Evidence can be circumstantial at best and you'll get an indictment. During a grand jury they only here what the so called evidence is against the accused and the jury typically renders an indictment. Before you people get in an uproar calling for him to loose his job and have his endorsement deals taken away wait until all of the facts are presented during the trial then you'll see if the evidence against him will standup. Also there are so many other things to be protesting about in this world......for instance the genocide that's taking place in the Sudan! Finally if this were a white athlete like Tom Brady would you condemn him from jump or wait for a verdict of guilt or innocence. Oh yeah Nancy H. I will go and protest in support of Michael Vick.....hope to see you there!!
