Barnes & Noble got rocked today in NYC, when the stars of the Broadway show The Drowsy Chaperone showed up to help PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk launch her new book, 50 Awesome Ways Kids Can Help Animals. Tony Award winners Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, along with Tony nominee Danny Burstein and five-time Emmy nominee Georgia Engel (who played Amy's mom in Everybody Loves Raymond) sang original songs inspired by Ingrid's book.
I haven't seen The Drowsy Chaperone, because nobody ever takes me to Broadway shows, but people seem to be really into it. And in case you're wondering why I know so much about Everybody Loves Raymond, it's because my mom used to make me watch it. So there. Check out the pics from the event. Everyone had a blast:
