January Leafleting AlertDear Activist, This month marks the three-year anniversary of PETA's campaign against KFC. We're asking the company to eliminate the worst abuses that chickens suffer in its suppliers' factory farms and slaughterhouses, including live scalding, life-long crippling, and painful debeaking. The more than 850 million chickens killed each year for KFC are tortured in ways that would result in felony cruelty-to-animals charges if cats or dogs were the victims, but KFC still refuses to make these changes. This anniversary is a fantastic time to help us spread the word about KFC’s cruelty to chickens and push KFC to demand reforms to improve the lives and deaths of chickens raised and killed for its restaurants. We hope that you can schedule some time in the coming weeks to hand out PETA’s “Kentucky Fried Cruelty” leaflets. We’ll also throw in some “Psycho Colonel Sanders” stickers for you to have on hand. Please fill out this form, and I will send you 100 of each. If you can use more, or if you have any special requests, please e-mail me. Get more information on what you can do to get involved in our “Kentucky Fried Cruelty” Campaign. Thank you for all that you do for animals. They truly need you! Sincerely, Megan Hartman Campaign Manager MeganH@peta.org 757-622-7382, ext. 8256
