Tell Circuses With Animals to Hit the Road!

As people learn more about the cruel confinement and abusive training endured by animals who are forced to perform in circuses, more and more compassionate people are refusing to buy tickets. If the circus is coming to your town, don't let it come and go unchallenged. You can help spread the word!

A PETA undercover investigation revealed that circus trainers with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus were striking elephants on their heads, ears, trunks, and other sensitive body parts with these heavy metal weapons. The elephants were forced to spend most of their lives in chains, boxcars, and the cramped cages that are used to transport them from one venue to the next. Some elephants such as Tonka and Luna, have to suffer these abuses for decades.

Getting the word out about cruelty in the circus is the most effective way to get people to stop buying tickets. Order PETA's free "Circus Leafleting Pack" so that you can be prepared when the circus comes to your town. You'll receive leaflets and stickers to distribute as well as a DVD to share.

Ready to really take on the circus, head-on? Follow PETA's "Steps to Take When the Circus Comes to Town" and make an even greater impact!
