Sadly, the Indiana Natural Resources Commission (INRC) has preliminarily approved a rule that would legalize wildlife penning in Indiana."Penning" is a blood sport that involves trapping and dumping foxes and coyotes into fenced enclosures and releasing packs of frantic dogs into the pens. The terrified wild animals are terrorized to the point of exhaustion, cornered, and often torn to shreds. Survivors suffer through this horror again and again, and the events can last for days. But the terror begins weeks earlier when the animals are snared and removed from their habitats and families and then transported.Graphic videos of penning can be found on the Web. Please let officials know that you support a complete ban on the cruel penning of wildlife in Indiana.Indiana Natural Resources CommissionIndiana Government Center North100 N. Senate Ave., Rm.
