Corporate Affairs Intern

PETA's Corporate Affairs Department engages and influences external entities (e.g., companies, nongovernmental organizations, etc.) through direct negotiations. Corporate Affairs also oversees the planning and implementation of shareholder-advocacy campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Complete company research projects
  • Maintain a variety of department spreadsheets and databases
  • Assist with clerical work and occasional mailings
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of animal rights issues and desire to learn more about the Corporate Affairs Department
  • Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Proficient computer and research skills
  • Attention to detail
