Project Manager

Position Objective:

To coordinate interactive Web and technical projects

Term of Employment:

Full-time

Reports to:

Lead Senior Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Facilitate all phases of project development (e.g., conception and planning, interface design, usability, scalability, functionality)
  • Define the objectives and scope of projects, including by coordinating necessary components and managing scheduling and progress
  • Develop and monitor work flow and related standard operating procedures to ensure that projects are completed as accurately and efficiently as possible
  • Assist with the training of new project managers and provide support to all Interactive Media staff members
  • Assist with the maintenance of the project-manager training guide

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of related experience, with proven success as a design project manager or software-development project manager
  • Knowledge of Agile development processes is helpful
  • Knowledge of Internet-development technologies preferred
  • Knowledge of project-management tools such as Microsoft Project, Project Server, and Office SharePoint Server is preferred
  • Strong drive to successfully see ideas from inception to completion
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and take a very proactive approach to project management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
