Position Objective:
To coordinate a variety of projects for several departments and provide support to the executive vice president
Term of Employment:
Full-time
Reports to:
Executive Vice President
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independently coordinate special online promotions and marketing projects
- Coordinate various Web campaigns and projects, including coordinating content development for major Web site revamps
- Perform independent research and analysis related to a variety of PETA programs and campaigns
- Draft and edit letters to corporations and members and respond to various inquiries, as needed
- Organize interdepartmental meetings on various topics, take notes, and follow up on progress
- Perform limited administrative functions, including processing monthly expense reports, compiling monthly staff meeting presentations, and other administrative duties, as needed
- Assist other departments with various projects, as needed
- Represent the organization to the general public, as needed
- Perform any other duties or special projects assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Degree in a related field or several years of relevant experience
- Proven understanding of online marketing practices
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Proven exceptional verbal communication skills
- Proven strong writing and editing abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Proven thorough knowledge of animal rights issues
- Ability to make sound judgments and work independently
- Commitment to the objectives of the organization
