Position Objective:
To coordinate select online-marketing efforts for the organization, with a focus on driving new leads to PETA's Web sites
Term of Employment:
Full-time
Reports to:
Marketing Manager
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan, execute, and analyze PETA's paid online-advertising efforts
- Manage PETA's online-advertising accounts on sites such as Google, Yahoo!, and BlogAds
- Draft ad copy and work closely with PETA's Web designers to create ads
- Assist with the creation of landing pages for specific advertising campaigns
- Research and explore new advertising possibilities and Internet technologies
- Create and carry out marketing plans for PETA's Web content
- Seek out free online ad placement for PETA's public service announcements
- Track and analyze Web traffic and the success of online campaigns and change strategies accordingly
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Marketing manager
Qualifications:
- Marketing experience and/or a degree in a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the Internet
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns
- Commitment to the objectives of the organization
