Investigations Coordinator
Position Objective:
To provide a wide range of support to the Cruelty Investigations Department
Term of Employment:
Full-time
Reports to:
Manager of Investigations
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research and interpret a variety of animal protection issues to further investigations
- Work cases from beginning to end:
- Liaise with investigators and work closely with research associates
- Review investigators' log notes
- View, transcribe, and edit undercover videos
- Log undercover photos
- Perform a variety of tasks to prepare for the public release of investigations
- Assist with writing projects pertaining to investigations, as needed
- Maintain and ensure functionality of the equipment used by undercover investigators, as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to make sound, independent judgments
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and handle many issues simultaneously
- Ability to learn new duties and responsibilities quickly
- Excellent computer skills required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues
- Commitment to the objectives of the organization
- Must have a valid driver's license with three years' clean driving record
