After PETA contacted Wilderness Travel, the company removed elephant rides from its offerings.

After receiving letters from PETA supporters, the Williamsport Crosscutters, a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) team in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, agreed never to feature monkey rodeos at their ball park again. Having hosted the rodeo in July, they are the first MiLB team to make such a pledge.

This is a huge victory for monkeys and animal rights advocates everywhere.

Rhode Island has become the first state in the U.S. to ban bullhooks! Gov. After Così introduced tofu, PETA encouraged the company to add more vegan options so that it could be enjoyed with more than just a modified salad. The chain, which has over 70 locations, subsequently added a Thai Curry Tofu Bowl to its menu—and it’s vegan if you hold the side of bread.

Following encouragement from and talks with PETA, Olive Garden made its marinara sauce for both breadsticks and pastas vegan. Previously, you had to ask for the kids’ tomato sauce, which is still vegan.
