Seneca County, Ohio -- A concerned citizen reported finding the corpses of numerous animals--including deer and a fawn, boars and a piglet, cats, and others whose bodies had been bloodied, skinned, and beheaded and whose bones were broken--along a walking path near Bloomville on March 21. Sheriff's Office officials visited the property and took photos of the corpses. Authorities are investigating, but they have yet to make any arrests in connection with the killings. That is why PETA is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these violent crimes.

Would you please consider sharing this information with your audience? It might be the only way to apprehend those responsible for these heinous acts.

PETA believes that other animals in the area--and even human residents--might be in danger as long as those responsible for these crimes are at large. The group is urging residents not to leave animals outside unattended.

"Animal abusers are cowards," says PETA Director Martin Mersereau. "They take their issues out on the most defenseless beings available to them. Area residents have good reason to be concerned. According to law enforcement agencies and leading mental health professionals, perpetrators of violent acts against animals are often repeat offenders who pose a serious threat to all animals--including humans."

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Seneca County Sheriff's Office at 419-447-3456.
