How can I let my local newspaper and television stations know about my anti-fur demonstration?

The best way to contact the news media about your animal rights demonstration is to send out a news release. News releases are short announcements about newsworthy events that are sent to newspapers, magazines, and television and radio stations to interest them in doing a story. You can go to our guide for working with the media for some useful information and tips on how to write your own news release, but please feel free to contact one of PETA’s activist liaisons for any additional help that you may need.
