What's the difference between being a PETA member and being on PETA's Activist Network? Shouldn't I be contacted about PETA events already if I am a donating member?

PETA members choose to help animals by donating the much-needed funds that PETA uses for our various programs. PETA activists, however, donate their time to our various campaign projects and are therefore informed of upcoming events, new literature, urgent action alerts, and breaking news. Many PETA members are also PETA activists, and vice versa. If you would like to be a part of both networks, you must sign up for each one individually.
