How can I reach people of faith with the animal rights message?

Most people of faith will tell you that part of their belief system includes extending compassion to all of God's creation. PETA has several pamphlets and Web sites that provide information on religion and animals. I suggest "Christianity and Vegetarianism" for Catholic Christians, "Honoring God's Creation" for non-Catholic Christians, and "A Case for Jewish Vegetarianism" for Jews. Additionally, PETA offers Web sites and other resources at JesusVeg.com and IslamicConcerns.org . Some of the material is also available in Spanish, so please feel free to ask for it as needed. Setting up an info table with these pamphlets or simply leafleting outside a place of worship will surely be a success. If you need any help, let me know.
