Einstein Bros. Bagels (the largest bagel chain in the U.S.), Bruegger’s, and Noah’s New York Bagels went nationwide with Daiya vegan cream cheese for a trial period at hundreds of locations. PETA has been urging the company to do this since 2015, including with a letter from actor Lisa Edelstein and a petition.
Following ongoing talks with PETA about vegan options, Stumptown Coffee Roasters launched new vegan pastries at its Los Angeles location. Seasonally rotating hot and cold meal options include Vegan Roasted Carrots and Broccolini, Forbidden Grain Bowl, strawberry chia pudding, and Winsome granola.
